Eugene Grey has released his fifth solo project called Authentic. This album is a compilation of instrumental original compositions and arrangements which is the reason for its title.
Authentic is a representation of Eugene’s life’s philosophy; one of eclectability, whereas something new will always evolve from the old. One example is his extraordinary re-arrangement of Badinerie, the 17th Century Bach composition in which he infuses a reggae groove. The songs, African Journey and Ancestral Dance give homage
to African rhythms.
