2OfAKind is a reggae duo comprising of brothers Shane Stephens and Shawn Stephens. With their uplifting and motivating musical content, they intend to make a permanent and positive change through music.
Growing up in Jamaica, the mecca of reggae music was all the drive they needed to fuel their love for music. From very early on they both realized that they were huge fans of reggae but made the decision to take it seriously much later on, after migrating to the States.
You could say music run in their blood as they grew up watching their mother singing in the church, and as a matter of fact, that was where they got their first introduction to music.
Their name 2OfAKind is befitting and equally significant because the two brothers are very like-minded.
Doing music for over a decade now, they have amassed a huge following with their smooth vocals and their arresting charm.
So far, they have released two albums namely “Nubian Star” and “Friday” not to mention a myriad of singles. Gearing up to release a body of work in the form of an EP, 2OfAKind promises more soulful and uplifting reggae music that their fans can enjoy.
Signed to their own Kindemmusic label, the two is well on their way to create an indelible imprint in the music industry.
